In contrast to conventional viticulture, organic viticulture can not be applied in all parts of the world as it requires much more demanding conditions. Thanks to the natural barriers that exist in Chile, our viticulture is free from many of the plagues, such as mildew and phylloxera, that afflict vineyards around the world. If we add to this the dry climate around the Andes Cordillera, which makes the appearance of undesired fungi such as the grey rot difficult, the result is an ideal and unique place in the world for organic viticulture.
