The Torres family has been in direct contact with vines for over 300 years and has been producing wines for 140 years. At Miguel Torres we believe that making good wines requires dedication and time to achieve the best results, always following nature's rhythms. This idea is innate in all of the family enterprises, seeking the highest quality with none of the pressures of short term economic results of other business models.

In 1979 when we arrived in Chile, we were the first vineyard to use stainless steel vats for the fermentation of wines at controlled temperatures, and we were one of the first to import barrels of French oak for the ageing of wines. Today we continue in this same spirit, innovating and developing ideas and projects that have as a goal the production of wines of higher quality and, especially, respect for the environment and for people.
